Constructing a sofa that will meet today’s standards and requirements needs a lot of planning. We at BD make it from scratch!

In our production facilities, we manufacture most parts and details of our furniture: wooden frames are produced in our carpentry, bentwood is refined in the press plant, our patented metal components and mechanisms are made in the metal department; cushions are moulded, the foam and wadding are cut in the urethane department; sewing and upholstering departments complete the work into a finished piece of furniture.

Everything under one roof forms the basis for guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and climate-smart choices. We put great care and effort into selecting the raw materials for our products collaborate with some of Europe’s most prominent raw material producers. In our furniture you won’t find shavings or MDF boards. We use birch veneer in frames and solid oak in visible wood details. The suspension is metal (no-sag), the pads are cast in water-based urethane or cut in polyether. To get a soft surface, we wrap the cushions in wadding. Cutting the surface material, sewing and covering is done by our well-trained staff.

We only use aniline and semi-aniline leather produced in Italy in an environmentally friendly way. The result is a pure and natural product that grows old gracefully.
